Description
Johnson Screen Filter Tube also known as Wedge Wire Screen Filter Cylinders,it is made of V-shape profile wire and longitudinal support rods.Each intersecting point of wires is fusion welded which makes it has sturdy construction and good mechanical property.The wedge profile wires and support profile rods can be axial wires or radial wires.As flow direction,it includes internal filtration and external direction filtration.
According to the wedge wire screen tube surface,it can be individed into two types:Normal Johnson screen tube and Schroeder wire wound screen tube.The normal type wedge wire screen has continuous and regular angles on the edge. It is economical,which is suitable for the applications where the accuracy is not very strict.The Schroder type is perfect round,it has better filtering accuracy than the normal type.
According to the position and direction of surface profiles and support profiles,the Johnson Screen Tube can be divided into four types:
1.Radial internal type.Filtering principle is flowing in to out. And the support profile is radial.
2.Radial external type.Filtering principle is flowing out to in. It is the standard type.The support profile is also radial.
3.Axial internal type.Filtering principle is flowing in to out. And the support profile is axial.
4.Axial external type.Filtering principle is flowing out to in. And the support profile is axial.
Wire Types of Johnson screen tube
Johnson wedge wire screen tube is composed of surface profiles and support profiles.
The wire type of surface profile is commonly triangular wire, which is also called V-shaped wire.
The support wire can be flat wire,triangular wire, round wire and trapezoid wire.
